PhD in Fluid Thermodynamic Engineering Universidade Santiago de Compostela

Introduction
The Doctoral Program in Fluid Thermodynamic Engineering is a scientific-technological program defined from two concepts, thermodynamics (from the Greek force of heat) and fluid as a working material system. His lines of research are articulated from energy, its transformations, work fluids and chemical processes and its objectives focus on efficiency and sustainability as the foundations of the technological development of society.
Presentation
The five research groups have extensive experience in this field and have been collaborating for years in doctoral training, the development of research projects, the organization of international symposia, and the dissemination of their work in publications and communications at conferences. The program is part of the research, transfer and doctoral training strategy of the four participating universities within the scientific, academic, economic and social context of the three autonomous communities to which they belong.
The enormous variety of research training needs and methods in the different fields of knowledge advises that universities use a high degree of flexibility in regulating these studies, promoting the collaboration of various entities and organizations in doctoral training. In this sense, the University will promote collaboration in the doctorate of all social sectors, particularly industries, companies and technology centers. The objective is to collaborate in the training of good researchers and doctors who will have to lead and cooperate in the transfer of knowledge from the University to society. In this way, a model of doctoral training based on the university is promoted but in which the collaboration of other organizations, entities and institutions involved in R & D + i is integrated in a harmonized way at both regional, national and international levels.
