The Ph.D. concentration in Leadership and Policy Studies in Education requires a minimum of 60 credit hours, 30 hours of which will be taken toward completing a dissertation. As per the UAEU regulations, students should be studying on a full-time basis where they study three courses each semester. The time to complete the degree depends on the ability of the student to pass the comprehensive exam and write their dissertations. However, it is very likely to get a degree in less than four years.
