Doctorate Programs in Education Research in Mexico

The Doctoral Program in Educational Innovation aims to train researchers capable of providing new knowledge that will contribute to the advancement of their discipline and that are subject to publication, transfer and application. In this regard, the program has been designed to train people capable of designing, implementing and evaluating educational solutions to complex problems of the country and contemporary society. The program has four lines of research that allow classifying the projects of both teachers and students: psychopedagogical studies, studies on the development and use of technology, sociocultural studies and disciplinary studies. It is a program that requires students to study full time, to reside in the metropolitan area of ​​Monterrey during their doctoral studies and to take an academic stay in Mexico or abroad with a university with which the Tecnológico has an agreement. It lasts for eight semesters or less, depending on the previous studies that the applicant has. -

Acquire solid training for scientific research, both quantitative and qualitative, applied to the subject of families. Prepare yourself with a teaching staff belonging to the SNI and accompanied by personalized tutoring from the second semester. Objective: To train researchers with thematic domain in the theoretical-practical postulates of the Structural, Constructivist, and Postmodern school, which allow them to discuss under the framework of the ethnopsychology on the dynamics of Mexican families and couples, being able to carry out scientific research projects that provide models aimed at solving the problems that Mexican families present today. -

The Doctorate in Educational Research offers three lines of knowledge generation and application (LAGC). Within the framework of these lines of research, PhD students develop original research projects, which represent contributions to the advancement of knowledge and / or understanding of relevant educational problems. -
