Introduction
ITESO's PhD in Engineering Sciences promotes the training of engineers who develop research projects with industry, to increase the scientific-technological capacity of the region, promote economic development, employment opportunities, social well-being and sustainability .
THIS DOCTORATE CURRENTLY OFFERS THREE LINES OF RESEARCH:
1) Design of electronic devices, circuits and systems, with four concentration fields:
- DAC for high frequency
- Telecommunications
- Integrated circuits
- Digital and embedded systems
2) High performance software, with three fields of concentration:
- computer simulation
- pattern recognition
- big data
3) Management of innovation and technology, with four fields of concentration:
- Information systems
- Ecosystems and Service Platforms
- BPM and Digital Transformation
- Innovation with Technology
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU
Candidates for a doctorate in engineering sciences at ITESO must:
- Demonstrate a clear interest in improving their training in engineering and technology research.
- Show interest in focusing your research project on one of the fields that are cultivated in the research lines of the doctorate.
- Be able to dedicate at least 30 effective hours of work per week to their doctoral studies.
- Demonstrate consistency between their academic background of training and/or professional experience and the field of research that they wish to cultivate in the doctoral program.
- Have a master's degree in the areas of engineering, physics or mathematics.
- Have an intermediate level of English proficiency.
